Heather Langenkamp Net Worth $1.5 million

Heather was born to an artist Mary Alice and a petroleum attorney Robert Dobie Langenkamp and, besides American, is of Scottish, English and German descent. After finishing Holland Hall School in her hometown, she transferred to Washington D.C where she enrolled at the National Cathedral School from which she matriculated in 1982. Heather later enrolled at Stanford University from which she graduated with a degree in English.

Heather debuted as an actress in 1983 when she appeared in Francis Ford Coppola‘s crime drama “The Outsiders”. Subsequently, in 1984 she briefly appeared in “Nickel Mountain” as well as in “Passions”, a TV movie. The real breakthrough in Heather’s acting career occurred later in 1984 when Wes Craven chose her for the role of Nancy Thompson, a teen heroine in his horror movie “A Nightmare on Elm Street”, also featuring young Johnny Depp; the movie gained real commercial success with over $25 million at the box office. The latter engagement provided the basis for Langenkamp’s net worth and also helped her to establish herself as a prominent young actress.

In 1987, Heather reprised her role of Nancy Thompson in franchise’s sequel – “A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors”. Between 1988 and 1990, she starred in ABC’s sitcom “Growing Pains” as well as in its spin-off TV series “Just the Ten of Us” in which she portrayed Marie Lubbock, one of the three main protagonists. In 1994, Heather Langenkamp appeared as herself in another Wes Craven motion picture – “New Nightmare”, and subsequently in the role of Nancy Kerrigan in “Tonya & Nancy: The Inside Story”, a sport drama based on the true story about two USA Olympic Ice Skating Team archrivals. It is certain that all these achievements have helped Heather to increase her popularity, as well as the total amount of her wealth by a large margin.

After brief appearances in “JAG” TV series in 2002, Langenkamp took a break from acting in order to concentrate on her family life. In 2007, she returned to acting with an appearance in the indie documentary “The Bet”. Ever since, she has maintained a continuous streak of acting credits, appearing in “The Butterfly Room” (2012) and “Home” (2016) movies, as well as in “American Horror Story” and “The Bay” TV series. It is certain that all these roles have impacted Heather Langenkamp’s overall net worth in a positive manner.

Apart from acting, Heather Langenkamp has made some efforts towards business endeavors; she established the gum production facility – The Malibu Gum Factory – but abandoned it in 2004. Alongside her husband, Heather is the co-founder of AFX Studio – a special make-up effects shop located in Panorama City, California, which has worked on several Hollywood blockbusters such as “Dawn of the Dead” (2004), “The Cabin in the Woods” (2012) and “Angels & Demons” (2009). Doubtlessly, these engagements have contributed to the overall size of Heather Langenkamp’s wealth.

When it comes to her personal life, between 1985 and 1987 Heather Langenkamp was married to Alan Pasqua. Since 1990, she is in marriage with David LeRoy Anderson, the Academy Award-winning make-up artist with whom she has a daughter and a son.

1I do like acting, but it is just something that I do on the side, being rich and famous is not a priority for me. I have my husband, my kids, my parents, my brothers and sisters, my home and enough money.
